Due to difficult life circumstances, successful Moscow psychotherapist and profiler Aleksandra Meshcheryakova is forced to return to her hometown of Kalinov. Unable to continue working in her profession, she takes a job as a cleaner at the Investigative Committee. With an intimate understanding of the human psyche and subconscious, she can't remain silent when she overhears the investigators' discussions.
