They protect each other from the outside world, so to speak, but one day the outside world knocks on their door. Maj meets a new man, and Bella becomes involved in helping a young Bosnian refugee obtain asylum. Has Maj let go of her daughter too soon? Is Bella capable of helping both herself and others?
