Reiko is a newlywed who has been married for half a year through an arranged marriage. Married life should be fun, but for Reiko, it has been a series of empty days. She and her husband, Takahiro, are not in tune with each other. And it's not just their hearts that are at odds. Takahiro has never tried to embrace Reiko since they got married.
